So as the ever expanding overlord known as the mighty GW it continues to expand its empire across the vastness of our world it appears to be also expanding its hold and abilities into the Digital market. I say expand but I personally feel like only for the first time are they really paying this market any real attention lately. So I will be starting a series looking at what the digital products offer us, and I hope to give you more than the random ranting or complaining about price or what not that you get around the intertubes.
We will start these off with the new White Dwarf going digital,

As I surf the inter webs randomly and check out the "must read articles" my servo skull feeds bring back to me so I can stay in the loop of things as well as stay inspired. I sometime run across things that are oddly right on par with exactly what I am doing at the moment.. For example. I have been building GK's nothing special about that, tons of people are building GK's, some of them are building them as you read this. Actually it is entirely possible that some of you are building while you are reading this.

(Used For The Destruction Of The Universe. Not As A Killer Of Superman Or As Deodorant)
Lantz here with an update and tidbits on my current army; Necrons of the Complekt Dynasty. I never really had a theme for my army back before the 5th Edition update for the Necrons. Back then the Necrons were just mindless automatons with a never-ending thirst for soul-sucking and probably some other kinky robot stuff. Say what you will about that old fluff, but I loved it. The nay-sayers like to compare them to the Tyranids; animals doing what animals do: kill, eat, poop, repeat. But the clear distinction between the two races was how eerie the Necrons were compared to anything else. Why were they killing? Where did they come from? What do they want? Where do they go when they "die"? No race knew the answers to these question and that fear of the unknown is what truly made the Necrons terrifying. With the recent update however, Necrons were given some personality and with that the chance to add some character to a previously lifeless show of slaughter. I do in-fact like the new fluff, but when the codex first came out it put me in a kind of perpetual clueless state of mind for how to proceed with my modeling and painting.

Always plenty of things in the pipe when it comes to painting, I'll just focus on a couple today. First we have a few of the newer body swaps from Secret Weapon Miniatures. Legs, heads, and rebreathers for Imperial Guard. Then I'll show off a not yet complete bit of fortification that was easy to put together. Oh yeah, and seeing as there is that new gunslinger rule...

A long time ago, I found a bunch of the templates for 40k on the cheap including the sprue they originally came on and bought seven or eight of them. The plan was to use them all as crystals with basing my army, but it never quite looked right to me. So the other day I was looking at my Reanimation Protocol marker comparing them to my Ever-Living markers and admittedly my Ever-Living markers were losing the cool-looking competition. So I decided to use the sprue from a ways back to spice things up. More after the jump.

The order of the hammer is the exact translation of this order from high gothic, but often times they are also called demon hunters. The Ordo Malleus is considered one of the oldest and most ancient arms of the Inquisition that was created by the decree of the Emperor prior to his internment and ascension to the Golden Throne of Terra.
I set out to find a use for this great model like I said in the past and what I ended up with was a great flex model on the table top. I have used this as a INQ, as another Terminator, and even as a Grand Master. It is always nice to have flexible models in your collection depending on what type of list you are running.
