First, I'd like to give a shout-out to Admiral Drax for the idea of using a painting chart to track my progress. If you've never used a painting chart before, I suggest doing so. It's easy to set up and a very organized way to put the mess that is your workbench into perspective. The image after the jump is my painting chart for my Necrons and what I've been up to with them. I have a couple other armies that need some attention, but Necrons are the focus lately. This post is all about what I've been up to and what I'm working on at this point. Join me after the jump for the massive picture dump.

A lot of this is going to be a carbon copy of my progress post over at TLA, but there are a few things added in as well. Long story short, I've never been a painter; hated painting, in fact. After five or six years finally got into me and I've really enjoyed painting and can't wait to try new things and test my very shallow limits. Essentially all I'm capable of right now is dry brushing and highlighting, but thankfully I play an army where that actually works. Anyway, without further adieu, my army's progress in the last month and a half:
Triarch Stalker
Doomsday Arks
Ghost Arks
Harbingers of Destruction
Harbinger of Despair
Harbinger of Eternity
Harbinger of the Storm
Imotekh The Stormlord
Overlords
Illuminor Szeras
Canoptek Wraith

Soooo many Crons' I Love them! That arm reaching through the portal is very effective!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's nice to see things come to a close. I can't wait to be finished with the army and have nothing to do for a bit. I may actually pick up a video game!
ReplyDeleteJust start another army :P That's what I do and that's why the GW machine loves me. Heh
DeleteCSM is my next army, but if I finish with the Necrons this week I'll have a couple of days ;)
